The dance weekend section of this sight will no longer be updated in terms of specific information; however, I will keep the links constant, and keep adding new ones and taking down old ones.

Table of Contents

Dance weekend listings with pertinent information, arranged by month, by state, and by name. All lists are cross-referenced to an in-depth description with link to homepage, who's participating, how much it costs, etc. This particular portion is skewed towards the younger dancer, with cost and scholarship information present, and hopefully soon reviews!

Many of these quotes I gathered off of the web and by listening to people. There are quotes specifically about contra/folk dancing, and quotes about dancing in general. If you have a super quote that you think I should add, email me!!

I have the very great fortune of living in one of the richest areas for contradancing around- the Triangle/Traid area of N.C. What's more, these dancers are particularly nice to us young'uns, and there's a growing group of dedicated twenty somethings fiddling, calling, and dancing. Come join us in N.C.! Pictures and links.

This is a section that needs the most contribution from you! Contra literature (stories, poems, even the odd limerick or two) not previously seen on the net; Contra merchandise (any home grown crafters out there need some advertising?) and other contra-related things for a bit of fun.

Here is the link section for dancing, calling, and bands. Got a great link? Let me know and I'll add it!

However, this is the free-thinking internet, so if you want to take a picture, take a picture!
Just ASK first, and give credit after. Thanks!
